This training is conducted in French, with English available upon request.
The Emergency Skills Workshop (ESW) organized by the RSFQ are recognized by the Ordre des Sages-Femmes du Québec (OSFQ). They are offered to all midwives who are members of the RSFQ. They are also available to non-member midwives, with or without an OSFQ permit, under certain conditions.
The aim of this full-day course is to take a more detailed look at the different scenarios in obstetrical emergencies. More time will be given over the practices and maneuvers, as well as feedback from experience, to better prepare and equip midwives.
Who should attend? / Who can attend?
- New midwives (one year or less of practice in Quebec);
- Midwives returning to practice after a prolonged absence;
- Any other midwife or healthcare professional wishing to participate.
